A roller is used to perform myofascial massage, which relieves muscle pain, eliminates adhesions in connective tissue and stimulates blood flow. It also reduces muscle tension and stiffness and reduces muscle recovery time. For women, an invaluable advantage of a roller will be the fact that its systematic use improves lymph circulation and helps fight cellulite.
Description
The roller is made of a flexible, elastic and at the same time extremely durable ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), which is highly resistant to wear. Hard spikes are evenly distributed over the entire surface of the roller, which penetrate quite deeply into the tissues, creating the impression that these are the fingers of an experienced masseur. Externally, the roller resembles a thick-walled tube, due to which it, being durable, has a very insignificant weight.
How it works
Training with a roller is intuitively understandable, as you can see from the example of the following exercise. Place the roller on the floor and pull on it, leaning in front of you with your left bent leg. Reach for the floor behind you with both hands, and place the ankle of your right bent leg on your left knee. Tilt your body to the right so that your right calf muscle is pressed against the roller. Roll back and forth several times, then repeat for the left side.
